The single-speed RP78 Planar 78 has been designed and engineered for outstanding performance. It features a 24 V motor and RB220 precision tonearm. It has a minimalist design and only high-quality components. The RB220 is one of Rega’s best-selling tonearms and uses a patent-pending polymer bearing, high-quality bearings, and a die-cast tube. Its three-point fixing technique reduces stress on the plinth and tonearm, offering greater stability and more music.
