The S1 Mk II appears similar to its predecessor but is entirely redesigned. It features Magico core tech, a unique all-aluminum enclosure, and a proprietary driver design. The monocoque is 3/8" thick and 12" in diameter and utilizes new bracing and damping to reduce resonance. The 3D convex top plate minimizes diffraction and standing waves. The Diamond coated Beryllium diaphragm tweeter, first seen in the S7, provides detailed and extended highs. It includes a robust motor system and long-throw voice coil for less distortion and lower cutoff frequencies.
