The latest amplification feedback engine literally brings music to life with LIFES* Version 1.0

The L-509Z is a pre-main amp using "LIFES" circuitry, combining a complex circuit of fidelity improvements from the 2021 flagship stereo power amp. It has multiple independent LIFES modules in pre and power sections. The output section uses triple-stage Darlington bipolar transistors for massive power and near-perfect linearity--producing 120W+120W at 8 ohms and 220W+220W at 4 ohms--for vibrant sound with plenty of energy.

Electronically controlled attenuator LECUA-EX* incorporating an elaborate rotation mechanism

LUXMAN's L-509Z amplifier integrates a highly precise rotary encoder and its newly developed weighted rotation mechanism to create its "LECUA-EX" volume control system. This system offers advanced reliability, a natural, high-quality operational feel, and 88 fine steps from 0 to 87dB to accommodate a variety of listening levels without compromising sound quality. As with all LUXMAN products, outside disturbances and changes in sound quality throughout the operating range of the volume control are avoided, and the system is resilient to deterioration over time.
